23 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 23 Weeks

Size of baby: 11 inches long and weighs just over one pound. He weighs as much as a mango! (Baby Gray has been measuring big though, so I'm sure he's bigger by a few ounces!)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 10lbs. (I go to the doctor on Wednesday, so I'll be sure to update more then!)

Maternity Clothes: I am officially wearing all maternity clothes, except for a few shirts. Luckily I hit a big sale a Gap Maternity over the weekend and stocked up on a few things.

Gender: It's a boy!! Gray Davis Stickles

Movement: Yes! I love it!

What I miss: Nothing! Except sleeping soundly.

Sleep: I wake up alot .

Symptoms: It's been pretty easy going this week... excpet for starting to feel HUGE!! ha!

Best Moment this week: Getting the boys' room all ready!! I'll post pics soon! :)

What I am looking forward to: Doing more work on the boys' room and getting some much needed baby items!!

Happy Birthday, Noni!!

Saturday night we all went out to eat for Noni's birthday! We all met up at her favorite mexican restaurant and had a great time!!

We got Noni a picnic basket, but it wasn't here yet. So, we gave her all the goodies to fill it up (plastic plates, cups and bowls) and a picture off ETSY of what it will look like. Hopefully it will be here this week!!

Luckily, I was really able to enjoy the chips and cheese dip. Baby Gray hasn't really been a fan of mexican food, but he was kind to me Saturday night. Maybe next time I wont be pregnant anymore and can enjoy a margarita... or two! ;)

Favorite time of day : Probably late afternoon. Between 2 & 4. That's when we get home from school and everyone is doing homework, chores, laundry, getting dinner going, playing.. all the things that make us a "family"! It's when our house really becomes a HOME!

Favorite season : FALL! The sports, the festivals, the colors, the clothes..

Favorite month : Gosh - I dont know. I'll go with December - I love when everything is in the Christmas spirit.

another one bites the dust..

Well... another tooth is gone! Looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight!!! (after a quick Target run to buy a $1 package of chocolate chips, just to get $2 in cash back!!!! YES - THAT is the life of a parent!! ha!) However, it didn't come easily.. in true Lilly Kate Stickles fashion, it was quite dramatic!! ha!

22 Weeks & a Fabulous Find!!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 22 Weeks

Size of baby: 11 inches long and weighs almost one pound. He is the length of a spaghetti squash!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 10lbs

Maternity Clothes: Maternity pants. Everything else is regular clothing. The dress I'm wearing in the pic above is a Gap Maternity dress. I picked it up the other day for $12!

Gender: Boy!! Gray Davis Stickles

Movement: Yes! I love it!

What I miss: Sleeping soundly

Sleep: I sleep ok. I wake up alot, mostly from just being uncomfortable.

Symptoms: None really.

Best Moment this week: I ate a Snickers bar and Gray went CRAZY!!! Apparently chocolate will NOT be on his diet for a LONG time!! ;)

What I am looking forward to: Getting more and more baby items in.

Today, my grandmother watched the kids for a few hours. On my way back into Bartlett, I stopped by an antique store just to browse. What did I find????

I am IN LOVE with it! Just perfect for Baby Gray! I think I want to distress it a little more though.. hmm??!

I also spotted the little Jon Jon above for $6! Great finds today!!! I was so excited to bring them home.

They definitely make it 10x's better!!! :)

And, I thought I would let y'all see my entire outfit. This is pretty much how I look every single day. Either a dress or cotton skirt and leggins. I have to admit though.. usually I have a ponytail and probably not as much make-up! ha!

Spring Break: Marty McFly Style

Besides LK being sick.. we have tried to enjoy Spring Break as much as possible! Ethan definitely has had ALOT of fun!!!

E has really come out of his shell lately! He may not say a whole lot sometimes, but when he does his quite comical! I'm just loving it!

He was using the orange chairs as his "stage", so of course, he had to rockstar leap off of them!

Poor Lilly Kate!

My sweet girl is super sick today! :( She woke up with a 101 fever yesterday morning and 103 this morning. Poor baby!! She has no symptoms other than a slight cough.

So... she has been in Mommy and Daddy's bed all day watching Eloise movies.

I just hate seeing her sick.. she look pitiful! Hopefully she'll be on the mend much sooner than later!! I have it on good authority that Noni is bringing her her favorite soup for dinner, so I'm sure that will work wonders!!

BTW - fever and orange juice DO NOT mix well!!! Chris gave her some this morning and let's just say that our bedding had be washed and disinfected!! G-R-O-S-S!

Operation: Kid's Rooms!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a quite a busy one around our house! Friday afternoon Chris' mom came a picked the kiddos up after they got out of school to spend the night. So, Chris and I drove out to Collerville to enjoy dinner and the Tigers game. After the game, we drove over to the Avenue mall to do a little shopping. I was able to snag up some more goodies for Gray and some "happy's" for LK and E!!

I am just loving getting to have all this baby stuff in the house again! :)

We went by PBO Saturday afternoon and snatched up this stocking for Gray. It was $2! I couldn't believe it!! We have this set for all of us, so I was excited to add one for Gray for so cheap!! I'll still have to order his "Baby's First Christmas" stocking for this year, but after that.. we are set! We found some other great deals at the outlet too!!!

Saturday afternoon, Ethan fell while riding his skateboard and got a scrape on his elbow and knee. Now, he didn't even break the skin, but you would have thought he had broken bones!!! He was pitiful hobbling around the house! A normal bandaid wasn't good enough, so I wrapped his wounds with gauze and tape. It was hilarious to look at him and you can bet that he played it up BIG TIME!! (such a MAN! ha!) After bath and getting bandaged, he got to lie in our bed and watch one of his superhero shows.. he lasted not even 10 minutes and was OUT!

See his bandages?!! HA! I promise y'all that the scrape was about the size of a nickel! ;)

LK was very content with eating some Key Lime pie! YUM!

Today, we haven't done much. Grams and Mom stopped by to see the kid's new rooms and that's about the most exciting thing we've done! Unfortunately, LK woke up with a high fever.. no other symptoms, so she's been lying around and eating soup today. It's a good day for it though b/c it's super gloomy outside!

Now, onto their rooms!!! We decided that the boys would need the bigger room, since they'll be sharing, so we had to switch them up. I wanted to get it done soon so that they would both have time to adjust before Gray arrives. We ended up getting it all done Saturday morning before the kid's came back home. I was surprised at how smoothly it all went. I did my best to help Chris get all their furniture moved... I was kind of helpless! But.. we got it done and their rooms look great! Now, we just have to put Gray's crib and dressing table in the boy's room!

LK moved into the front bedroom, which is smaller. So.. no more pink kitchen!! WOW! My baby is WAY too big! We kept all her baby doll stuff in there though, so not TOO big! ;)

Her room look precious! I still have to hang curtains and switch out their lighting. (and maybe sneak down Justin Beiber! ha!)

The boys room is going to be adorable! I can't wait to get the crib in there to finish the look!

I still have to get his bedskirt.. I just can never decide what to get! I'll probably just end up with a standard white box pleat one. Still have to hang curtains in here too! And don't worry.. the pink light is moving to LK's room! ;)

The train table is moving to Chris' parents house, in their playroom. So, in the far corner is where the crib and dressing table will go. Ethan barely plays with his Thomas trains anymore, so we're keeping all the train sets and will just buy Gray a new table when he's ready to play with them.

All in all, it worked out really well! We really like the setup of their new rooms and they seem to enjoy them. I was completely exhausted after all that work though!! I'm still tired today. Chris even went alone to Kroger this morning for the weekly groceries and the kid's and I napped. He owed me anyway since he got to go out to Dan McGuiness with friends last night!! ;) (kidding... ) Tonight, we just relaxed, made manicotti for dinner and did laundry. Ethan is REALLY enjoying being able to watch Netflix on the iphones!

He didn't know that Daddy's phone had it too! He was excited!! Now, we just need to get him some boy headphones instead of LK's pink ones for school! haha!

So.. I think we're going to take it easy next weekend! ;) We are excited for Spring Break this week!!!! YAY for sleeping in!!! (i think i'm even more excited than the kids! ha!) I hope y'all have a great week!!
