Well, our weekend started off in the cold, misty weather Friday night at a soccer game! Let's just say that LK was less than thrilled to be playing! She was a good sport though! :) Saturday morning we were back at the soccer field for team pictures and yet another game. It was definitely chilly, but at least the sun was shining!
One of Ethan's favorite movies is "Alvin & The Chipmunks".. so as he was putting my sunglasses on, he was saying.. "HEEELLLOOO GORGEOUS!" SO cute!
Other than that, we really didn't do much Saturday! Chris and I managed to get a few hours away from the kiddos for lunch and some shopping. It's always so nice to be able to get a little break sometimes! Thank goodness for all the grandparents in Memphis!
On Sunday we all went to Goo Goo's (my grandmother) house to help her close her swimming pool! Luckily, there were several of us there so it went rather smoothly! As Ethan said, "the pool went night night till spring"! After we left Gram's, we came home and my other grandmother came to visit. She came bearing birthday cards and homemade enchilladas! YUMMY!! (my grandmother is from El Salvador, so you can imagine how yummy they are!) It was so nice to visit and chat with her! After she left we started on dinner. Since my birthday is Tuesday and we have a soccer game that night, Chris cooked my birthday dinner on Sunday. It was DELISH!
