So, every time we attempted to go to an egg hunt around town, it was a total rain out! Gosh.. March was a doozy with the rains! Our last resort to do something “Easter-y” was to go see the Easter Bunny. I’m sure we all remember how terrible of an experience Santa Claus was, so we were really trying to avoid another all out meltdown with the bunny. However, it couldn’t be avoided! It wasn’t QUI TE as bad this time..
Bad, but not too terrible! And go figure, right after this, Chris picked him up and he gave the Easter Bunny a high five and waved bye. So, it’s not the character itself that scares him, it’s just the fact that someone isn’t holding him!
After visiting the bunny, we headed to Nana and Papa’s to celebrate Easter with Chris’ family. They had a mini egg hunt for the kids and Nana cooked a delicious lunch.
Gray fell asleep on the way, so he wasn’t really into egg hunting.
They even found money in their eggs!
We had a wonderful time at Nana’s and it was a great start to the Easter weekend!
