We spent our first full day at Magic Kingdom. Surprisingly, it was not near as crowded as we had anticipated! Just about everyone we talked to about kept telling us how crowded the parks would be on Christmas Day and the weekend following. We were definitely a little worried!! We were happy to find out that, yes, they were crowded, but nothing like we were afraid of! Thank Goodness! All in all we had a very relaxed trip and didn’t deal with large crowds at all!
Always so excited to see Main Street USA as soon as you walk in!
The Christmas decorations were incredible!!! So fun to see!
Little Christmas Mickey’s everywhere!
LK, Gray, and I caught a quick show in front of the castle while Ethan and Daddy rode a coaster.
Sweet babies!
He was VERY interested in all the characters!
Tradition to buy a silly Disney hat!
Family favorite…. TEA CUPS!
This was Gray’s very first time riding the tea cups… he LOVED them!!!! THIS is what Disney is all about! Watching them experience the magic!
The last time we were there, they hadn’t opened the new Fantasyland yet. So, we this go round we got to experience all the new rides and attractions! Enchanted Tales with Belle was definitely a HUGE hit!! They wouldn’t let me use my camera, so I’ll have to find our iPhone pics! SO fun!
This is his “get that camera out of my face” look!!
We also got to ride Dumbo this time!! It was still closed down last time! I think I was even more excited than the kids!! Dumbo was always one of my favorites! :)
We were in the park ALL day!! Literally.. 7am – 9pm! FOURTEEN HOURS! The best part of the day… nighttime with the Christmas lights! Magical, I tell you!
Monogrammed Peter Pan hat.. check! LOVE!!
Can you tell how tired we all are??! It’s ok.. SO worth it!
Right before we were getting ready to leave, something completely unexpected happened… As if our day and evening couldn’t get any more amazing and magical.. IT DID! It SNOWED on Main Street USA! I wish your could have seen the smiles and heard the laughter from the happiest little kids that I’ve ever seen. It was amazing! That moment defined why Chris and I do what we do everyday for these 3 little people. That moment MADE our trip and is definitely one of the pivotal parenting moments when you think to yourself.. “THIS.. THIS.. is what its all about!” Amazing magical! All 5 of us will remember that moment for the rest of our days..
Snow covered Cinderella’s Castle
After leaving the park, we hoped on the monorail and rode over to O’Hana at the Polynesian resort for dinner. Delicious food along with coconut races and hula dancing made it the perfect ending to our incredible day! We had a blast!!
