Tate’s Wedding Shower

A few weekends ago, April and I hosted a bridal shower for our dear friend, Candice. It turned out wonderfully and everyone had a great time!! We are getting more and more excited for Candice’s wedding in July!!

She ended up with lots of gifts!

Everyone really seemed to enjoy the food. The menu consisted of: Onion Soufflé Dip, Poppy seed Ham Sandwiches, fruit and dip, pasta salad, April’s meatballs, and even more! The beverage of the day was Firefly Sweet Tea (firefly sweet tea vodka and simply lemonade… OOH MY GOODNESS.. SO good!!)

The décor included a lot of burlap and mason jars! SOOO cute!!

I put all my mason jars to good use! I ordered the sweet paper straws and tags.

It was a kitchen shower, so we tried to incorporate kitchen utensils in the flower arrangements.

We set up an “Advice Jar” in lieu of a guestbook. Everyone gave her piece of marital advice. We also included recipe cards with the invitations and everyone brought along their favorite recipe to the shower.

    

We played a VERY fun game of Bridal Scattegories!!! It was hilarious!
