work.. work.. and more work..

These days I have just been overloaded with projects to be working on! It truly is a blessing though. Not many people can say that they LOVE their job.. I DO! :) I love having 500 million orders to complete and ship out! It keeps my creative juices flowing AND keeps me out of Target! (always a plus!! ha!) ;) Here a few things I've done in the past few days..

First, my friend, Cassie, is starting up her own photography business. She is WONDEFUL!! I am in love with every picture she posts! So, I was beyond excited when she sent me an email asking me to create a logo for her. At first I was really nervous b/c I had never done a logo OR even thought about doing one. But for her.. I'd give it a try! I was SOOO embarrased to send her the ones I came up with though! ;) But.. believe it or not.. she like them! Whew.. relief! ha! She's asking everyone to comment on her blog or on facebook and let her know which design is your favorite! So go give your opinion! :) I'm even more excited that "payment" for my logos is... A FREE PHOTO SESSION!!! HORRAY!!! :) I am just blown away that she even LIKED them.. let alone that other people do! lol Since she's posted it on FB and her blog, I've received several emails from others asking for logos too! Gosh, I didn't even know I could DO logos! haha! Very flattering and sweet though! :) And hey.. I'll give anything a try!

Another project that I've been finishing up this week is LK's Kindergarten Graduation invitations and announcements! I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!!! VERY LK! :) She loves them and was so excited to send them out to everyone! All family member living in Memphis got the invite to the party and all out-of-town family members and friends got the announcement! I still just CAN NOT believe that I will be watching my sweet baby graduate from Kindergarten on Friday! I will most definitely need an entire box of tissue!

I also finished up a project for my sweet friend, Natasha! If you follow her blog, then you know that she's planning a Bachelorette Party for her best friend, Meg. She asked me to create a few decor goodies for her and they turned out SO CUTE! This is her first glimpse of them.. N, they're on their way to you! :) ENJOY!! (and thank you to you and Candice for thinking of me to do them!)

I also made up the most adorable invitations for our sweet friend, Makenzie's, birthday party! Ethan and Miss M are just a few days apart and just love playing together! (her mommy, amber, is pretty great too!) ;) We can't wait to have fun with the slip-n-slides at her party! :)

I also accomplished a task that I've been putting off for the LONGEST time!! I FINALLY hung up the kid's paper art roll in the playroom! (and put down the splat mats from Taylor's Giveaway) I LOVE how it looks in their playroom and they LOVE drawing on it! Now, just maybe, Ethan will refrain from coloring on the walls!! (ha! probably NOT!)

It looks like the rest of the week may be easy going, as I'm shipping most of my orders this afternoon. But then again, I always think that! ;)
I hope everyone is having a GREAT week!!

Wishful Wednesday ... Dream Bedrooms

Today on Wishful Wednesday, we are talking about our dream bedrooms!! I started thinking about it and trying to find pictures, and I just couldn't narrow it down! (figures! ha!) So, beware of picture overload! :)

'I wish' .... I could come home to ANYONE OF THESE bedrooms each and every night!

I like all things simple and without fuss. I ADORE alot of white in a bedroom. It just makes the space seem so content and comfy... very serene. I do like a little bit of color though. Nothing too bold and bright, just light and airy, enough to bring a little bit of something into the room. Blue is always a go-to favorite for that purpose.. so is yellow!

I love love love the white beadboard in this picture!!

I also love a room that brings in both new and old.. like this one with the iron bed and rustic nightstand. This is one thing that I am loving about Pottery Barn right now! They never cease to make me swoon over every page!

And how awesome is that brick wall!!!! Oh my! LOVE it!

Our current bedroom resembles the picture above. We have a yellow print duvet and iron bed. If only I had that wall of windows behind it??! A girl can dream! ;)

Top 2 Tuesday : Before I die..

Every week I just look more and more forward to Top 2 Tuesday!! Taylor always has the best topics! This week it's all about the things I want to do before I die... a "bucket list" of sorts. Now.. there's LOTS I want to do before I die! Like, travel Europe, take my kids on the Disney cruise... the list goes on. But there's definitely two things that are on my "immediate/within the next few years" list!

{1} Move to South Carolina
Now.. I have no GOOD reason to choose South Carolina. ha! But, I do know that I DO NOT want to raise my children in Memphis. Dont get me wrong, I love being surrounded by family and friends, but the city and it's "issues" are just awful! I want to raise them somewhere with a slower pace style of life, definitely somewhere in the South! I thought about Texas.. but it's too hot! haha! (you can really tell how straight my priorities are on this one!! ha!) So, I next went to Georgia or North Carolina. Honestly either one of these would work too. I defitely want to be along the Southern East Coast. I came to the South Carolina decision because we know several people who live around Greenville and LOVE it!! It's a booming meca for young families our age and has SO much to offer!! It's nestled right in between the mountains and the coast! It's SO close to Charleston, Savannah and Atlanta. OH MY.. I WANT TO MOVE SOO BADLY!! I guess now I just have to get Chris on board with this! haha! And my Grams.. can't move without her! :)

{2} Go to the Kentucky Derby

I wont bore you with the reasons.. it's obvious! ha!

Kindergarten Graduation Party!

Today, we gathered all of our family and very close friends together to help LK celebrate her Kindergarten Graduation! She graduates Friday, but we had to go ahead and have her party this weekend because our next few weekends are already booked up. She definitely didn't mind having it early though!! :) We had such a good time and everyone was so sweet to Miss Priss. I still just can not believe that she is old enough to go to Kindergarten, let alone graduate! My baby is just getting WAY too big!

I'll be honest, I've been so busy with other people's orders, that I just didn't have time to really do much for LK. Sad, I know! :( I did make her a banner though, as well as, some napkin rings and a door sign.

Grams was sweet enough to make her a cake!

Grams LOVED getting to love on sweet baby Emerson! Emerson is just precious.. and looking more and more like her big sister every day!

Everyone was just too kind to LK! She loved all of her gifts!!

Proud Parents!!

The snacks were YUMMY! We asked LK to make a list of her faves, so we ended up with chicken nuggets, pizza rolls, spicy dip (aka - salsa!), pig in a blanket, watermelon, and Nana's Mac & Cheese! ... quite the spread! ;)

Joell and Ashley

Nana & Aunt Debbie

Addyson and Gracie discussing cake!

Ash & LK .. gosh, it seems like just yesterday she was still pronouncing Ashley as "Ash-a-lee"!

Aunt Debbie got LK a "paper doll" kit, but it is made out of wood and is magnetic, so the clothes and accesories stay put. It was a HUGE hit with all the little ladies!

LK was so excited to see Aunt Lyns and Uncle Ricky. RP is a fisherman, so he's usually gone every weekend in the spring for a fishing tournament. It was a big treat to be able to see him! :)

MeMaw & Big Daddy Grandpa G!

my sweet sweet friends, Haley & April - April finds out on Tuesday whether Baby #2 is a girl or boy! I am SOOO excited!! Too bad she doesn't even look preggo here!!! I am SO jealous! I was a WHALE with #2! ha! :)

Aunt Britt & Tiff

Lacie & Goo-Goo

see what I mean about the dolls!

Uncle Joe

Grandma & Bompa

Goodness.. I just dont know if I'm mentally prepared to see my girl graduate Kindergarten on Friday! We made a video slide show to show at the party (which I'll try to post soon!) and I balled like a baby the ENTIRE video!! ha!

That was pretty much our entire weekend! Next weekend, we are looking forward to a get-together with friends (2nd Annual Stickles Spring Soiree, as Jax calls it.. ha!)! I love getting to spend time with friends.. esp when we can all be together at once! :) I hope everyone has a great week!!
