ROAR!

Two weekends ago, we decided to make a trip to the zoo to see the new dinosaurs! The weather has been AMAZING in Memphis and we wanted to take advantage!! I think everyone in the city, as well as everyone from surrounding cities, thought the same thing. As we got close, they were stopping cars b/c it was so crowded and there was no parking. Luckily, as we got up toward it, they opened the parking lot back up. Once we got up to the front of the zoo, the lines to get in were down to the street and then wrapped around to the back parking lot. I have never in my life seen lines like that!!!

Luckily, since we have a membership, we were able to skip ahead of everyone! Thank goodness for that!! I can promise you that we would NOT have waited in that line!!!

The dinos were awesome! Ethan absolutely LOVED them!!

    

I was very impressed.. they were very life like! Even the eyes moved around like they were watching you!

Gray was intrigued.. although, he was content with sitting in the stroller and not getting close to the dinos!!

We walked around the rest of the zoo for just a little bit and saw a few of our faves. The best thing about a membership is that we can just go a little while and not feel like we have to see every single animal in order to get our moneys worth! We can always come back!! Especially at a time when it’s no so crowded!!!

We had a great time at the zoo! Afterwards, we got some lunch and then called it a day.

A few weekends ago we celebrated Chris’ Mom’s birthday! She turned the FIVE-OH! Brittany hosted everyone at her house and we had a really great time. It was “fiesta” themed!!

Gray got some good love from Aunt Debbie!

As soon as we walked in, Ethan loaded up a plate with chips and salsa! I swear, you’d think that we just let him starve or something!!
