The day actually started with Ethan's speech evaluation, which went really well. He definitely has problems with articulation but he's doing great!!! We've been monitoring him closely because of all his ear problems/ear tubes when he about 18mo old. Luckily, most of his issues seem to be developmental and he will continue to master them as he gets older. He might need some therapy though and we will determine that at our next meeting. It's definitely strange to me to have a child with speech problems, b/c Miss LK was a chatterbox at the age of 1! ha!
After our appointment E and I went to Hobby Lobby and then to Chick-Fil-A for lunch. After lunch we checked LK out of school, then met Chris for our BIG appointment!!
The kids were so excited about being able to go in to see the ultrasound!! E kept telling everyone that he was going to see his baby brother or sister on the "tv screen"! Precious! :) They were just adorable saying hello to the baby and the baby was just moving everywhere!!! He/She must have know an audience was watching! We got lots of great pictures and the gender is safely sealed in an envelope so that we wont know until the party on Saturday!!! I am thoroughly confused to the gender! I've had a "girl feeling" for a while and today the heartbeat was in the 160 range, however I thought I caught a glimpse of boy parts... SOOOO who knows!!! We will be so happy with either though! :)
So, now I amDYING patiently waiting until Saturday to know who will be joining our family!! I have started my Target List (haha!) and have "hearted" all my favorite ETSY must-haves!! I am ready to start shopping!!! :) I am so excited for Saturday and I think Chris is getting sick of me talking about all the details, trying to make sure I have everything in order!
I hope everyone is having a great week!
I also finally put some weight on!!! I am up to 10lbs total! It is definitely ALL BABY!! Baby is already measuring at 13oz! WOAH! ;)
So, now I am
I hope everyone is having a great week!
