Dont sweat the small stuff!

Lately, things have just been crazy around our house. So much so that I really feel as though it's starting to spin out of control all around me. I'm sure everyone feels like that at some point! :) I try really hard to be a good person, a good friend, a good mother and a good wife. Sometimes though, it's inevitable that you feel like you're slipping a little in one area or another. Right now I'm in a good place with being a good mother.. I need more paitence, but what Mom doesn't?! ;) But I'm so happy to be with my kiddos everyday and we really do enjoy our time together! I'll be honest.. I could be a better wife.. I've been so stressed lately that I've been a little "snippy".. sorry C! I haven't been the world's best friend lately, but then again there's some underlying issues there and I'm just trying to let the heat settle. Plus, I feel as though I've moved on to a different chapter in my life and sometimes that requires finding people who are in the same place as you. And I'm always striving to be a good person. I've really been talking to the Lord lately and asking him for guidance. Life has just been plain stressful in the more recent months and I'm just trying to paitently wait for the light at the end of the tunnel. I know it's there... we just have to hold it all together until we get there! I am so thankful for my incredible family though. I wake up to those sweet faces and I am instantly reminded of just how lucky I really am! Bottom line.. you get one life.. live it well! Don't sweat the small stuff, trust in the Lord, love the ones who love you and let them know JUST how much you love them, and just have fun.. enjoy it and make it memorable! :)

I came accross these verses today and they really seemed to help me a little... If you're really stressed and waiting for that tunnel to end, I hope they help you too! :)

"Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act." Psalm 37:7

"Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing." Proverbs 12:18

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them." Romans 8:28

"God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12

"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance." Romans 5:3

"If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." Jeremiah 29:13
